If you’re looking for a classy venue for your next event or evening out with friends – Churchills is the answer! (I’m considering having my¬†upcoming 30th birthday celebrations here…). Situated in the super-trendy Melrose Arch, this bar and lounge is fashioned on an upmarket British bar. It features a cigar lounge and they have an extensive wine, whisky and champagne list that caters for every taste.

We arrived to a red carpet welcome (literally!) – it was #SocieteSaturday and the place was already filling up with the well-heeled. We entered into a sophisticated yet laid-back lounge area with plush couches next to wooden bookcases. The music, laughter and dancing added to the vibey atmosphere and we were soon shown to our table and given the cocktail and food menu by our warm and friendly waitress.

We were treated to cocktails and a board for the evening by the lovely people at Churchills. I chose their signature cocktail – salted caramel and popcorn martini – it was divine and highly recommended!

Hubby had the mojito – it tasted so goood! I have had many a disappointing watered down cocktail and the ones we had at Churchills were definitely made using quality ingredients.

The Winston board arrived soon after with a deliciously creamy and spicy chicken livers that we enjoyed with warm pita and ciabbata. There were marinated artichokes, gherkins, tomatoes and a selection of cold meats accompanied by tzatziki and an awesome bratwurst served with mustard.

The staff were friendly, efficient and we were well looked after – what a pleasant evening! On our way out we took a photo at the photobooth they had set up outside :)
